Kim is nothing spectacular, but very useful at times you need to process many images for slideshows or web purposes. I primarily wrote this for my father, because he asked me to automate certain of his image manipulation processes. However, this is to be seen as a work in progress, as it doesn't really qualify for a standalone-software release yet. It's a simplified, free image manipulation program that allows to automatically scale down images and to place copyright informations on image files.
Possible mass-image-manipulations are as follows:
Scale images from directory (+ imprint copyright info)
Create web-gallery from directory (+ imprint copyright info)
Both do practically the same (they scale down images to achieve web-friendly dimensions), but 'web-gallery' produces additional thumbnail images, which are renamed to end with '*_m.*'. Imprinting copyright info is done by copying image data from a file you can define as your copyright template.
The third feature of Kim is the slideshow. Slideshows can be loaded from directory or playlist. When you load images from directory, Kim automatically generates a playlist. In the 'Order' column you can define codes to play the images in a different order. The 'Show' column allows you to enable and disable images. All images are enabled by default.
